Made to measure curtains in Mansfield

Mansfield sits right on Casa by Joanna's doorstep, which means home visits are easy to arrange, fitting dates are flexible, and if a fabric book needs to come back a second time before you decide, it simply does. From the stone terraces around the town centre to the family homes of Berry Hill, Oak Tree and Mansfield Woodhouse, Joanna measures, makes and fits it all personally.

Practical beauty for family homes

Much of the work in Mansfield is for busy family houses, and the brief reflects that: blackout curtains and blinds that actually black out for children's bedrooms and shift workers, washable roman blind fabrics for kitchens, child safe operating systems fitted as standard on every blind, and hardwearing fabrics that keep their looks. Handmade does not mean delicate. It means made properly for the life your rooms lead.

Warmth that you can feel

Older stone and brick properties around Mansfield can be cold houses to heat. Interlined curtains are one of the most effective and most beautiful improvements you can make: a thick, soft layer sewn between face fabric and lining that holds warmth in the room and instantly makes windows feel dressed rather than covered.

From one window to the whole house

Some clients start with a single awkward window that ready made could never fit. Others take the opportunity of a move or a renovation to have the whole house considered as one scheme, with curtains, blinds, cushions and headboards made to belong together. Either way the process starts the same: a free home visit, honest advice, and a clear written quotation with no obligation.
