Not every window wants curtains. Handmade roman blinds bring pattern and softness to kitchens and bathrooms without trailing fabric, and they show a beautiful print flat and uninterrupted. Every blind is made to current child safety standards, with cordless and motorised options for children's rooms.

Joanna visits with fabric books, measures every window herself, sews everything by hand in her Nottinghamshire workroom, then returns to fit tracks and poles and dress each curtain in place. One person, one standard, from the first cup of tea to the finished room.
